Matthew 16:1
The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.
Seeing is believing, right? Nope!
How often do we see the signs which were foretold of in the bible, and we go on living the same old same old?
Recently, there has been talk of the river Euphrates drying up.
You would think that those, who might get “all shook up” about what this could mean, would get on board with Jesus, instead of being all, “ho-hum” and go right on as before.
The truth is, that God could come down riding on a horse from heaven, and they would still want their lives to go on as usual.
Signs of the times? Really?
This is why Jesus said…
“…Murmur not among yourselves. No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day…”
John 6:43b-44
We come to Jesus because we’re drawn to him, not to the signs.
I like that he said, “murmur not among yourselves”. All the questions, and whispers that are done without truly wanting an answer is like a fruitless conversation.
Come seeking answers, not signs.
God bless
